I reworked the coloring, fisheye camera and sound design to create a more believable atmosphere for the game. Previously I just slapped a blue tint over the footage. Now reworked the coloring completely with Photoshop to give it a more realistic coloring. I also readjusted the fisheye lens to avoid warping effects that could cause motion sickness and also increased the field of view to 145 degrees to match the fov of a gopro camera. I also made the picture slightly worse to simulate imperfection. Also worked in some volumetric fog for more spookyness.
Lastly I was reworking my dynamic sound component to play ambient spooky sounds (like owls for example) more naturally and also placed them across them map (see screenshots). I also added some ambient sound occlusion and ambient sounds when you enter a building.
Would love to know your opinion on these changes, especially the color correction!
