Not sure, it seems as my friend said, they are simply driving away the majority of their content makers like myself, and I don't understand why.

you misunderstand. not the platform but the hosting.. subscribestar is not an option for me. They have told me already they won't allow my works on there.

Thats odd of Pixiv, like its so backwards. Dont understand why they doing it, can somone explain? If somone want to upload video and pics, especially likes games, why cant user not download? Dosent make sense. I think he should go over to Subscribestar if Pixiv dumb to this change. Subscribestar also ok with this genre of content.

https://k00.fr has been used by some of the other creators I support. If you're worried about distributing links on this page, I've also seen people use Discord to distribute files as an extra layer of removal from Pixiv, and they distributed invite links via putting it in the Fan Card image visible after you confirm your pledge. This person also remakes their Discord server every month, to ensure that only current pledges have access.

Just keep in mind as well that Pixiv will now come after you if you host files on external platforms and share it with your supporters. It is now a violation of their increasingly draconian rules as they try (and fail) to weed out bad actors by continually crushing the creativity out of the good natured content creators that made their platform what it is. As a long time supporter I want you to succeed and keep creating.
