36 year old, Destiny Adams anxiously undergoes the pre-operative process until being greeted by her anesthesiologist.
she'd awaken in the intensive care unit.
Kept there for additional monitoring and vital support.
Ms. Adams was undergoing an elective spine surgery, when late in the procedure she arrested and the OR team had to resuscitate.
circulation soon resumed and the procedure could be brought to a successfull completion.
When Destiny had the anesthesia mask put on her face for surgery, her doctor reassured her that everything would be fine and she didn't need to be so anxious. To just take a few deep breaths in and relax.
And even whilst during her elective and supposedly harmless operation, Destiny's vitals dropped and her heart stopped, the doctor had kept her promise.
Destiny would be kept on life support for a day until it was clear her condition had fully stabilized.
Soon after she'd be transfered.
And recovered with the support of her husband and children.
And despite the incident, the operation would proove to be a success and once the pain from the invasive procedure subsided, relieved Destiny's back pain singificantly.
Now she asks herself the question.
Was she rightfully nervous?
