A Question to All about Muscle Girls AI

This question may not lead to representative answers here, because most people are probably here because of my comics, or VR or whatever.

But the thing is, my AI creations easily get 4-5 times as many likes on DeviantArt as my 3D pictures (comics). At first I had a problem because the AI image quality was really bad, but I learned and worked out some tricks. (Which I won't reveal by the way ;-)). But it's also partly thanks to the good and very expensive hardware that I need for my 3D work anyway. It also really bothered me that many people have jumped on the bandwagon who have never done anything artistic before and now think they can make big money with AI. Since my AI images are very well received, after hesitating for a long time, I have now decided to monetize them on DeviantArt.

Patrons who have been here for a while know that I'm always complaining because my work barely covers the costs. I find my AI images very sexy, but it is a completely different work that has nothing to do with my original artistic work. Apart from the combination that I am an IT specialist, a programmer and have loved computer graphics since my youth and have continued to expand that.

The question now is, how legitimate do you think it is that I'm trying to make money with AI to finance all the other things? Feel free to write it in the comments or to me personally. Maybe you can have a good discussion if you like.

Fun fact: This text is AI translatet ;-) I'm not too bad in english, but somtimes it can go better ;-)   And the original text of course is crucial.

Thank you for your comment and the feedback on the quality of my 3D figures. When you sit in front of it for many hours a day for years, you often lose judgment of your own work without feedback. As for training AI models, I'm not into that. I only know that it is very time-consuming and would have to be done anew for each of my characters. I simply don't have the time, as I'm already working on a lot of construction sites anyway. Next week I'll also be getting the Quest 3, which I was able to afford thanks to a generous commision work from AWE Films. So VR development will be added again.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, the design options are very limited in AI. The only plus is the near photorealistic rendering.

Well, your AI work clearly is definitely quite a bit above the fold in comparison to a lot of other stuff flooding DA these days, so if it pays the bills, why shouldn't you pursue that revenue stream? So, I have no objections, as long as your more creative endeavors won't suffer from that. Because I think your muscle girl models are still a lot better than the AI images, simply because AI always struggles with proper anatomy. The only thing AI mostly gets quite right are faces (although sometimes eyes look in different directions), with the rest there is basically always something off to variying degrees. This is why I actually see a lot of potential in the hybrid approach: Your 3D models are anatomically unmatched, but the faces often push them into the uncanny valley, while with AI it is often the other way around. So I think your 3D work could benefit greatly from deepfaking technology to produce really great, hyper-realistic characters. From what I understand, it is now quite possible to train an AI to produce the likeness of a fabricated character quite consistently across multiple images and from all kinds of angles. But that is not really on topic anymore. So, ultimately, if monetizing those AI images gives you more financial freedom, go for it. It might even result in more of the other stuff getting done as you'll have to focus less on other completely unrelated work to pay the bills and if that works out, it would be an improvement for all of us.

Personally for me I don't really like it. Feels like I've seen the same images thousands of times (from many other profiles) and it's getting boring because it's repetitive in a way (just saying how I feel). I don't think you can tell a creative story like your awesome written stories (office girls, gladiatrix, chronicles of stella), so personally to me it's not a huge deal But this is just me, I am more of a story guy myself so.. Can't wait for your future content!
