Patreon Update and Q&A

It's the end of another month in this lock downed world. We hope you are all doing as well as can be in these strange times. We just wanted to give you a quick update about a few things....

LLOYD IS REAGAN!

Back in early 2020 (before the world descended into chaos) Lloyd recorded vocals for a rap based animation that our friends at Rhyme Combinator are putting together. We are expecting that video to drop today at some point. It's an Election themed video featuring Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. It's the same people who did the Bitcoin Rap Battle Debate: Hamilton vs. Satoshi video. We will post up a link later when they send it us.

LIKE IT'S QUIZZITCH!

Also today we are dropping this months quiz which is open to all patrons. We have three prizes on offer including the Orc Mask from the Tolkien vs Martin battle and also the Iron Bar that featured in the Joker vs Pennywise battle. Plus one random entrant will win an ERB T-Shirt, pin badge and wristband. The quiz is all multiple choice questions and pretty difficult but it doesn't usually take a huge score to win! So make sure you enter.

Q&A TODAY!

At 12pm PT today (that's soon!) over on the YouTube community page Lloyd and our manager HeadMonk will be answering fans questions (in text format) for an hour. We'll try to answer as many as we can. But as all you patrons are the real VIP's here; if you have a question drop it in the comments below and later on we will try to answer some here too. (Please no match-up suggestions though cos otherwise we'd be here all day!)

WOLVERINE STUNT MASK WINNER

Earlier this week we did a video live stream which is available to all writer and director tier patrons - who can watch it back on replay if they missed it. You can find it on this Patreon page. During the stream we held a prize draw open to our long term Director tier patrons - to win the Wolverine Stunt Mask - which is worth $600! We just wanna say congrats to Ty Lowrie who was the lucky patron who won it! We will be running similar prize draws every three months from now on.

"WHERE'S THE NEW BATTLES BRO"?

Those of you who are Writers & Directors tier patrons will probably know all about the issues we have had this year with Covid19 and Lockdown. Pete & Lloyd haven't seen each other in person since March. And we are unable to film any battles right now due to the situation in LA. But, we have been researching, writing and recording demos and we do have one battle fully recorded and in production right now - which will be an animated battle. We are also looking into options in regard to an Election battle for October and we have other match-ups which are in various states of being part-written. So, we have been busy and we will have at least 2-3 battles for you later this year.

======

Finally, just want to thank you all for your continued support here on Patreon. We'll never get tired of telling you all how vital you have been. Whilst we have suffered a financial hit this year with the Covid situation affecting both our income and ability to make videos - you guys have been rock solid behind us. We can't wait for you to see what we've been working on. :)

Remember to leave your questions in the comments below and we will answer some later on today. Talk soon!

Thanks for this. Duly noted. More deaths needed!

Epic Rap Battles Of History

Maybe I am a bit late with the question. But I did the math and currently the ERB kill count is: S1: 5 kills S2: 5 kills S3: 8 kills S4: 11 kills S5: 4 kills S6: 0 kills BB: 9 kills Total: 42 kills So do you guys plan to kill someone in season 6 so it will have one kill?

Glen Dorland

I mean unless you go full on non-conventional battle the only thing less appealing than trying to give trump enjoyable lines a third time is attempting to make Biden likable and get good lines. And pissed off Lincoln is just overdone. I was honestly REALLY hoping covid would get that battle called off, but now I guess we can just hope there is some other battle to actually look forward to, rather than utterly dread this year.

Ugh. Walking into 2020 the Election Battle was one of the things I was looking forward to the least. Honestly, it still is.
