Peter is one of my favorites from the anthology. I love how it relates back to the song Cardigan where she says "tried to change the ending, Peter losing Wendy". She admitted that Cardigan was about Matty, so I guess he's her Peter.

I think the second line about being bloodthirsty really throws people off and they spend the entire song trying to figure out a metaphor that isn’t there. It’s simple and beautiful just like innocence she is singing about.
