She turned him down as she was dating her first boyfriend. That boyfriend would later tell how he was unable to keep from cheating since Bey wanted to stay a virgin until marriage. He suggested they take a break when he went to culinary school and Jay got his chance. That was two years later I believe.

It’s in relation to his company Roc-A-Fella. Anyway, if you don’t do On The Run II tour, I hope you’ll also be planning to check out Everything is Love. The third album in what is considered the trilogy since elevator-gate. There is Lemonade (Bey), 4:44 (Jay-Z) and Everything Is Love (The Carters).

Especially since Beyonce tried to give a nod to Kelis on the Renaissance album and ended up removing her Milkshake interpolation from the song Energy after Kelis complained she did not ask for permission. You guys might have been the originals!
