There's one thing that the entire world is talking about right now... That's right - Holden is officially dead.
In October 2017 Australia closed it's last car manufacturing plant. A multi-billion dollar industry seemingly gone for good. In February 2020, GM announced that it was closing down the Holden brand.
During the 2019 election Bill Shorten promised a huge cash injection to get an Australian electric car industry up and running - an industry which has almost been doubling in size year on year. Consumers all over the world have been desperate for affordable electric cars and this would have been an opportunity for Australia to get a foot in the door in this booming environmentally conscious industry.
But, like usual, we fucked it.
As always, thank you all so much for your support. Stay safe, and have a great weekend.
