I was too busy playing Wolfenstein and Syndicate to use my brain playing games like these! Good video, nice audio recording and edit. Good one LGR.

Back in my Best of Entertainment-playing heydays, I did end up playing Tetravex, but it didn't hold my attention too long, even with the promise of a smiley face in the end. I think I would just give up and lose interest in that Eternity II puzzle from it being so hard. I'll stick with regular jigsaw puzzles, thank you. But some people are crazy and up for a challenge and do jigsaws where all the pieces are the same color! Ever hear of that? If I did one of those jigsaw puzzles, I would probably put together a few side pieces and then be totally lost, haha.

That'd be awesome if this allowed for it to happen.

Forgive me if I've asked before, but do you still have that variant you made lying around?

This was actually one of my go-to time-wasters back on my Win98 system and I'd almost completely forgotten about it until now. I don't think I ever solved a 6x6 grid but I did indeed solve a 5x5 and when I was just casually wasting time I kept the grid at 4x4. Other logic games I wasted time with included Minesweeper variants, not just the one I made myself but also a 3D one which got really intense, as well as nonograms, similar to what you get in the Picross games Nintendo's released.

Wow, I'd never even heard about this subject before. Really interesting about that Eternity II puzzle. Keep up the good work bringing these niche topics to light!

Maybe one day soon Eternity 2 will be solved: <a href="http://www.cnet.com/news/d-wave-quantum-computer-sluggishness-finally-confirmed/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.cnet.com/news/d-wave-quantum-computer-sluggishness-finally-confirmed/</a>
