LGR - Xbox One Wireless Controller Adapter for Windows 10

LGR - Xbox One Wireless Controller Adapter for Windows 10

Comments

You've probably seen clones without even realizing it as most of the 360 controller PC wireless adaptors out there ARE clones. Simplest way to tell is if the "Microsoft" logo is on the top of the unit. If it's not, it's a clone. If it is, it's probably genuine, but you still gotta double-check the bottom for the Microsoft hologram. :B

I wasn't aware of any clones! But that's cool, hopefully one comes around for this as I'd love to use it on other systems.

LGR

Given how fast the clones came out for the 360 controller wireless adaptor, it's not going to be long for the XB1 controller wireless adaptor to suffer a similar fate, thus restricting it to Windows 10 is a surefire way to completely miss capturing the market for it. :P

Kris Asick

Same, it's looking great so far!

LGR

Wreckfest! Love that game.

Lon Seidman

Haha, interesting. Good thing I'm playing GTA V with the 360 controller, then! :)

I still use this controller when playing at my desk! Some games just feel better with it, like GTA V :) Something about having no wires at all dangling against my lap or legs.

LGR

Dongle! I know I commented on that word a long time ago, but it never gets old. :D Glad to see this controller worked out for you. Maybe I will get a wireless one at some point, but as someone who also uses a controller using a TV screen attached to my PC, I am not so far away from the screen where I can't use my corded 360 controller, so I'll stick with that for now until my setup changes at some point. :) The WIndows 10 restriction is a bit strange, though. Smells like Microsoft wanting to force as many people onto it as possible...

Lindsay Michelle

Right? It's such an arbitrary limitation! Reminds me of the crap they pulled trying to force gamers to use Windows Vista with Halo 2 or whatever.

LGR

I find my self most annoyed by the fact they made it for only Windows 10.

ReeseRiverson

Heh, yeah I get about 10 games a week from PR companies since I'm a "reviewer." It's silly.

LGR

1,101 games on steam! That's a good collection of everything.
