Maher's approach is such a logical way to move forward. It boggles to think why we let our statusquo gorged, fat politicians continually push us in directions we don't want to go. It's scratch-head-till-bleeding levels of frustrating watching fucking windows of opportunity sail right by: NZ here, but why not when we were buying our government's fancy cars, why didn't we buy Teslas? It sounds like an innocuous little thing, but it would've been atleast one person's job to make the decision to just buy a dozen big sturdy BMWs for $80k. That's lazy, dull thinking that doesn't move us forward. If that guy/chick had've read decent sites or newspapers and thought for a sec 'hmm dang Teslas would be ill. To retrain (and re-empower?) a big workforce like that, it's gotta mean money in a lot of training peoples' pockets
