Leather WIPs and Update

Here is a first look at my leather retexture. I've only done the male vanilla leather set so far.
To go back on my last "update" post, the difficult time I was referring to was my dad's passing. It was very sudden/unexpected and we are all still trying to process it. I have lots of ups and downs, but I've been trying to get back into my retextures because it always helps me feel better. I might "lay low" in the sense that I'll be slow to reply to comments/DMs on nexus but I'll still work on this project, in my spare time.
For that reason, I'm thinking of including Hide, Scaled and maybe Fur armor in the leather retexture. That way I can focus on just the art side for a bit longer, before doing the part I don't like as much (nexus page, fomod, screenshots, etc.). Plus I figure they all fit in the leather category and I wanted to add optional pants meshes to all of them.
Hope you like the leather set so far! I've mentioned before I'm not too comfortable working on non-metallic sets, but I like how it turned out. Just took a lot more tries than other sets

2023-04-20 13:45:30 +0000 UTCI fully agree that it makes sense to ship all the hide/leather/scale armour together. They all kinda fit the same early-game hand-crafted armour theme. And the fact that it gives you more time to do what you enjoy is good! Worst case scenario you upload 4 separate files or offer checkboxes for the fomod. I am very sorry to hear about your father's passing though, and I send all my condolences. I understand it's a very hard time for you and your family, and I hope he is remembered fondly. Take good care to prioritise your mental health first and foremost no matter how much people want more of your content. But you seem you have enough of an understanding already with the plans to do a batch of armours together in a larger set, so it's just a friendly reminder more than anything else. You do great work, and for what it's worth from a stranger on the internet I'm proud of you and I respect what you're having to go through. If for whatever reason you need anything I'm only a poke away.
