Hi Kirstina, try reloading the page, it should be ok!

That Chapter

Hey Mike, I can’t view the video. It says,Null. I’m signed in. I think I am going to cry!

Kristina Jordan

You're grand work away!

That Chapter

Oh I'm sorry, Mike! I can wait if need be -- didn't mean to hold you up! EDIT: Some familial things came up, and I fell behind!

Remy Darling

Ops sorry! That was much, check it again should be ok! Was just scheduling it for the next hour

That Chapter

I was like two minutes in and BAM! Video unavailable?

Remy Darling

I wish I didn't watch that

Mike Joe

oh my god. I've seen/heard some shit, but this is up there. reminds me of that scene in Hereditary, but real.

Mike Joe

Yeah I seen that video! Absolutely disturbing, horrible. So he says a try was driving the other way, and as it passed a pipe rolled off, bounced off the road and the went through the windshield on the passenger side on the other side of the road. Apparently just due to the angle and the speed it wouldn't have been possible. It dors happen, but just doesn't seem to be the case here I guess

That Chapter

I'm dumb and I don't think I understand how he claimed the whole incident was laid out in space, such that it led investigators to say that what he claimed was physically impossible? Like I know the lack of glass on her, his injuries etc. etc. debunk his version of events, but how was the accident mapped out as he explained it? I just ask because, as Mike noted, people do die from things falling off of trucks. I'm reminded of that awful, awful video of that guy driving on the highway with his wife in the passenger seat, and a brick from a flatbed truck ahead of them flies off and crushes her.

gethaunted

Yeah, I was honestly confused for the first like 15 seconds of that call because I figured it was his wife's voice

gethaunted

Honestly reminds me of the Michael Peterson case from the docu-series The Staircase. twists and turns in the personal lives of the victim and husband and near unbelievable way she died, although the one in The Staircase was a LOT more convincing than this idiot. If you are going to kill someone and blame it on a freak accident, maybe at least try to make it look like said freak accident actually happened.

Kristen Marie

I just have to apologize that my home state has/had so many stupid bizarro murderers. This guy, Ed Gein, Dahmer... hey, that's 🌲🌳🌴

Elizabeta

Having watched just a few of these types of videos.!...Yep Joelle Lester-she wanted to leave his controlling/didn’t let her alone for a minute ass OR there was a decent life insurance amount OR he had met another woman. That seems to be the TREE most popular reasons to kill your wife these days...🌲🌲🌲😉😔

Catherine Andrews

She must’ve been about to leave him. He noped out on her

Joelle Lester

Mike, you make me laugh. "No one bought that shit." I hope you had a great New Year. Keep doing what you do. Oh and you should check out the Margaret Haddican-McEnroe. She is/was the sister of a friend of mine who went missing in 2006. Cheers.

Todd's 911 call reminds me of Dan, the high talker, from Seinfeld. This case reminds me of Michael Paterson - aka the Staircase murder. no motive aside, sure looks like he did it. it IS interesting that family, friends, children all stand by him, but that just leads me to believe that this was NOT in Todd's nature, something extra-ordinary happened, and that he blocked it out or is simply in denial and that he is suffering from some sort of extreme expression of regret, but that he snapped and in a panic, tried to cover it up.

Mike Joe

Well great minds think alike 🤗 happy Saturday!!!!

Michelle B

You said exactly what i meant to say, but you said it so much better!

Robyn Wheatcraft

That's a great idea! Because in the end it's always the "why" that helps families come some sort of resolve. Though if they've truly deceived themselves into buying his lies maybe they have accepted it?

Robyn Wheatcraft

yeah the lack of motive gives me pause too. but with her injuries not being consistent at all in any way with his version of events, his skin being under her nails, him having scratches and torn up knuckles without explanation i feel he's guilty. but why...why....why!!?? I would say cut him a deal, knock a decade off his time off he'd just tell us why

Shan Nonymous

Yes that's me

Shan Nonymous

Oh yeah, i forgot that what i see as far as "views" counts doesn't really show up in real time. I was already watching another of his videos when the patreon notification popped up, so I immediately clicked it. At that moment there was no veiws. But honestly I couldn't be the only one to immediately drop whatever I'm doing to catch mikes next video

Shan Nonymous

Shan!!! hey aren't you the first viewer and first commentor on the Todd Kendhammer Youtube video from That Chapter?

Mike Joe

🤣. you must get that all the time. how random

Mike Joe

It isn’t surprising to me that Todd would suddenly kill his wife. People change and evolve over the years and with how long they’d been married, in many many ways Barbara was no longer the same woman he had married and of course vice versa. Perhaps she had always been a pushover and submissive to him and then that started to change at some point, until it reached the point that Todd couldn’t deal with it and snapped. Maybe he felt he was going to lose her? Maybe she even threatened to leave him due to not wanting to be controlled anymore? All this under the noses of their family and friends who swore they had the “perfect” marriage. Maybe it simply seemed that way to everyone because that’s all that they’d seen for years and they knew nothing about Barbara being unhappy and Todd being controlling and having a growing anger problem. People are very very good at keeping secrets and putting up fronts. How many times have we heard people say of a friend or loved one, “Oh they would NEVER do that”, whether it be a murder or a suicide or running away or doing some other “out of character” thing, yet they did! It happens all the time! In this life things are not always what they seem! I truly hope Todd one day decides to come clean and tells the story exactly how his wife would have if she’d been given the chance to speak ❤️

Michelle B

Wow! This is a very intriguing case, but very hard to comment on since i can think of no motive based on the evidence. Like if it turned out one of them was having an affair; especially if it was him and just wanting out. But then again, if he was controlling and secretly abusive maybe he found out she was having an affair or maybe she just wanted out of an abusive relationship. Either way, it will probably never be known, especially with both sides of their families on his side, unless he gets some sort of spiritual awakening and just owns up to the truth but that's a rare happening. How sad and confusing. Another great episode Mike that I've never heard about before. Keep up the great work!

Robyn Wheatcraft

Great video Mike. Todd says he doesn't know where the scratches came from eh? I do his poor wife Barara fighting for her life that's how. There is a special place in hell reserved for him and his lying self.

Michael Green

🤣 No that's not me, I honestly don't like that channel at all haha. I hear the resemblance though!

That Chapter

Mike!!! It's that your voice on this video at 2:25 saying "this is lotus caramelized briscoff" https://youtu.be/nRL8W1w_gag
