Hello All!
Some great communicative scenes in this one and I especially enjoyed the Naiomi/Drummer ones. Alex carefully approaching Holden re Miller was comedy gold! Amos realising it was the camera guy was also brilliant and then proceeding to ship the duo out to send a message was also pretty funny to me. We learned way more about the mystery chick that killed Ren...Jules' Daughter!!! Didn't see that one coming!

I never found it out of character at all. The idea that she has the potential to see a once in a lifetime of our species event, something that changes our understanding of the universe, it's understandable how strong a pull that could be on someone who actively searches for answers with an open mind. The conflict comes with her having a family AND she hasn't even seen them since she was at the U.N. to write the speech. I would've thought she would've gone home before that and then gone back out/gotten the go-ahead from her family to try this. So, although I think she should've gone home 'cause of her family, I can completely understand the desire to see, to know, to get a glimpse at the larger view of the universe.

2025-05-16 10:30:29 +0000 UTCGreat reaction and outtro, as usual. I love this episode for Drummer's speech - it's one of the best in a show that has really great speeches. Very interesting comparisons - Alex and Anna, and Ashford and Avasarala - I don't think I've seen anyone else make those connections, but they are really apt. Two great comedy scenes in the episode - Alex checking in on Holden, and 'Miller' showing Holden what he is asking for when he says he wants to know everything.
