Before I begin, bless you, for the sneeze near the beginning of the episode. I don't understand why it was important to put that out, but there it is. Loved the Martian marines landing on Earth. The sunglasses where to protect their eyes, not being used to the different light levels. The glass is called "Smart" glass. I was introduced to it on an episode of "This Old House". It has LCD technology that will (originally) make glass transparent or opaque at the touch of a button. Turning the same glass into a mirror and being voice activated is just a natural growth of that. You can get it, but it's very expensive. The Roci using the relief ship as a Trojan horse is a time honored strategy. Just hide yourself behind another vessel that's going the same way, and you'll avoid detection, hopefully. Alex has the hard part now, waiting. Like you, I was jumping around when Chrisjen wanted to speak with gunny Draper. She didn't get Draper to say much, but what she did say spoke volumes to Chrisjen. Couple that to what is happening on Venus, Maybe Chrisjen could bring Draper in(I know it's a longshot)and they might share their suspicions. The final scenes were unexpected. The "muscle" laying claim to all the supplies AND the ship, plus planning to kill pilot and his partner. If Holden and Amos hadn't shown up when they did things might have been worse. Right now the Woman is angry with them, but in time she will be able to let go of that. BTW, I do get emotional, it's more apparent when I'm happy. I recently sent a clip to your discord from a movie called "Shall we dance" I think it's sweet and if you viewed it then know that I get like the clerks in the background. I am a marshmallow that way. One more thing, it's Valentines day as I write this, and I hope that you have a special someone, other than Grayson, to share it with. It's going to be such a looong week waiting for the next episode. 😄 Remember me saying that this show has so many moments that had me saying "YES!" out loud and pumping my fist? Chrisjen dialing in on Bobbie was one of them. It was so much fun watching you pick up on that. Bobbie's Purple Heart Medal... I commented on this before, about it's real world significance. I think she's conflicted about it. She sincerely wished to honor the tradition, but I'm thinking she feels a little survivors guilt. According to the tradition, her fallen comrades would be awarded the same medal posthumously. But that would be a small consolation. That and the fact that the officer who gave it to her followed up by making it clear that she would be expected to participate in a false narrative of what happened. Her reaction made it clear she was pissed. Also, it was given to her in private rather than in a ceremony before her command and peers. I imagine that may have made the award feel cheap. And, I pointed out last episode Amos doing a search for Lydia in Baltimore before that tussle with Alex. In this one, when he and Holden were walking into Ganymede station he said it reminded him of Baltimore. You didn't comment on it, so maybe haven't been picking up on it. But, there it was again. He's doing some serious soul searching, thinking back on his life, about being a kid. Hence the change in his behavior. I think it started back when he was helping hand out rations on Tycho Station. A woman grabbed for something, he reactively shoved her back and her little boy shoved back at him, yelling at him. That seriously triggered him. He looked utterly stunned. I don't think it was the talk with the scientist Cortázar that messed with his head. It was the kid. Talking to Cortázar helped him get a grip and get in touch with those uncomfortable memories and emotions he was beginning to face.
