I feel if he fluffed up on others now and again I'd have found it endearing but Astrid and Walter have one of THE best friendships on the show, that's the bit that doesn't track. Thanks for making me aware of this Don.

2025-03-09 09:30:13 +0000 UTCYour initial gut reaction to Walter continuing to get Astrid's name wrong (it was funny at first but at this point it seems excessive) is pretty insightful. I've watched fringe from front to back at least 8 times and never noticed the excessiveness of the running joke until the last few times. The excessiveness of that running joke was indicative of some behind-the-scenes issues between Jasika Nicole (who plays Astrid) and a few of the producers. Jasika didn't have any issues with the cast whatsoever btw. Nothing but mutual love there. It's slightly eye-rolling when I see that joke in the show now but oh well.
