A little more info on the markings in the tunnel and also the Mirror, the scenes of their paranoia were pretty funny. I'm loving the comedy in this show right now. It's such a shame that this show found the perfect balance and it was cancelled at S6. The MOTW was a lil odd but still enjoyable. I just love the character dynamic more than anything. Similar to Firefly - it's just fantastic!

2024-07-14 14:58:35 +0000 UTCGood episode, a bit slow in places, but the MOTW was kinda cool and most definitely inspired by Groot. I think everyone associates Groot with the Guardians of the Galaxy series of movies, but Groot has been around since 1960 and was created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and a third artist/writer whose name escapes me at the moment. I, too, enjoyed the little bits of comedy in this one. I wish this last season was longer because it hit the target dead center with the writing and the jelling of the characters; it very much reminds me of Supernatural, not just for the "monsters", but the little family that has formed of our people. I honestly felt sorrow in my heart watching "Groot" die and I can't explain why. I'm glad that when Nick was writing the case up he mentioned it being like going back to the uterus, because when that happened I thought, "that looks a helluva lot like a va...". I don't know, that scene really made an impact on me. Thanks Dak, you're the best.
