Really emotional one this episode, Sharing how it all started and how it is now. Serenity is a character within itself and Mal and the crew love it dearly. Not only for the ship getting them from A to B but also bringing everyone on board closer together too.

Still my favorite episode. And I’ve seen it a zillion times. Kaylee is what I’d call earthy. She takes pleasure in pleasure. From the strawberry in Ep 1, to the fancy dress and classical music in Ep 4, to a straightforward approach to sex. She’s sweet, but not innocent. She’s the heart of this ship and the heart of this family.

The opening music made me think I was about to hear: "It's been seven hours and 15 days Since you took your love away" R.I.P. Sinéad O'Connor This is the highest rated episode of Firefly and deservedly so. It's very emotional on several levels and you almost forget to blink. Seeing the flashbacks was fun and interesting (that pornstache was something, eh?) and they did a really good job de-ageing them. Inara looked particularly alluring. Regarding the cancellation of the series for those of us that were fans, yes it was a huge disappointment. Now add in that years later we found out they were aired out of order. Fuming. I always forget Stephen Flynn (Captain Sash) is in this episode. Last thing I saw him in was Bosch: Legacy a couple of years ago. If you haven't watched Bosch it's worth your time, but possibly not for the channel, as I don't know how many people have watched it. Then again, since you do the full episodes that can be their first time watching and hang out with you at the same time. Win-win. The salesman at the end reminded me of Boss Hogg from The Dukes of Hazzard and I always thought that was on purpose. I feel like I'm doing 65 in a 35 zone with how fast these are coming at me. I really hope when you have the slot open you decide to choose Fringe. Thanks Dak!
