In the opening scene you had commented on Nick's bag, I immediately thought it was either a bugout bag or an arsenal bag. I've been putting together a bag with various items that are useful if stranded or camping, but also for self defense. If you're curious about what led to it, I'll explain at the bottom.* There were parts that felt a bit slow for me, but exposition is very important and I remind myself of that while watching those types of scenes. Slow doesn't necessarily mean boring. I love that most, if not all, viewers thought Doyle was the Blutbad infected with lycanthropy but it turned out to be his mother. I recognized Ann Cusack immediately. All the Cusack siblings are actors and actresses, with the two most famous being John and Ann. Ann's most recent role was as Donna January, mother of Annie January (Starlight), in The Boys. Once again, Renard was in only a few short scenes, almost like cameos. Even Adalind was sidelined. That being said, the story was compelling and the ending tragic. When Doyle woged and howled in sadness and despair for his mother, I honestly did get very watery eyes. As you get older, your parents are obviously getting older as well. This was not a natural death, but death comes for all and I find myself getting anxious quite often about my mom. Anyway. Wow, the actual final scene with Wu was such a great cliffhanger. I don't know the physics of lycanthropy in Wesen vs. humans, but something is going to happen. I'm seeing a string of Wu episodes about to start, fingers crossed. Almost forgot: when you said "FBI" and then you moved your eyes back and forth, seemingly doing mathematical equations in your head, and then said "...detectives." I laughed. We need a Dak blooper compilation. Great fun as usual, thanks Dak!

I can't say much more without spoilers so I'll just say I'm soooo looking forward to your reactions to the next episodes. With regards to Grimm blood, they did cover why Nicks wouldn't work for Adalind or Eve. And maybe my memory is fuzzy but I thought there was an episode in one of the earlier seasons that talked about Grimm family connections. If Truble's blood would not work it might mean that she is related to Nick in some way. But I can't recall if they delved into that. Course now that I think about it, it would mean he'd be related to Josh and his father too in some way so maybe that isn't it. But then we have to consider how Adalind got her powers back. I'm wondering if there'd be something about that process that may prevent Grimm's blood from working again at all. That would be my take on the Grimm blood situation. Fun reaction for sure, can't wait for the next one! Take care Dakara.
