Hello All!
Wrestling episode with a dark twist. The 100th episode was a hard one to follow but this did a great job of keeping me entertained. I truly love these characters and it feels like the more time I get with them the better. I do miss Renard, I know he's in the episodes, it just doesn't feel like he's a part of the group right now. Is this just me? It could well be tbh.

Even though I think the blood of a Grimm remedy is a one time only thing, because Nick had considered that when looking for a cure for Juliette, since there are two Grimms now, you've got a great point there.

2024-03-02 15:01:57 +0000 UTCI used to watch wrestling too. But not by choice. Price of having a brother who hogs the tv on the weekends. I'm really disappointed in Renard. He could have had lady red head arrested. Maybe he's thinking of using her to get to Black Claw. Hoping. I don't want him to be seeking the job of Mayor through this. The concern Adalind has about becoming a Hexenbeast again is odd. We know that Grimm blood can be used to get rid of that issue. It happened to Adalind before, so we know it works. Maybe this is a case where the writers and others don't remember lore used in the past?

2024-03-01 16:27:15 +0000 UTCSuch a fun episode! I can't remember having such a long opening scene, especially one that had none of the main characters. Eleven minutes of a great setup to the story and then the opening credits. That's almost 29% of the runtime. Wow! I was really invested in the MOTW and I have a feeling that you and I had the same feeling in our chests. I loved hearing that you watched a lot of wrestling when you were a kid. I got into wrestling in 1997, so that may have been around the time you did too. I've seen some British wrestling matches over the years, but back then it was the WWF (later changed to WWE) for me every Sunday night. The classic days with Hulk Hogan, Edge, Big Show, Triple H, The Undertaker, etc. My favorite was Mick Foley though and I still have the two books he wrote from those days. I hadn't watched wrestling for years, but when I found out about the Chris Benoit incident in 2007, it all came rushing back and I was heartbroken. It still feels weird to me how homey comfy cozy Nick and Adalind have become. Don't get me wrong, I love it and I'm all in, but that little conversation about some of her Hexenbiest powers returning gave me a bad feeling about where this might be going this season. Why can't we have nice things?! I would have liked more Monroe and Rosalee (duh), but at least they appeared. Same with Renard, and I agree with you; it's like they're throwing him a bone by giving him a throwaway scene. Speaking of that, it was the same with Eve/Juliette. "Hey look everybody, these two characters are still in the show! kluvyoubye!". Fun time, Dak, thanks! Edit: right after this I rewatched your reaction to 7x05 of Supernatural and I had forgotten that both Spike and Cordelia were in the episode as the married witch couple. So nostalgic, and I wanted to remind you of that fact because you hadn't started your Buffy journey yet.
