Brand new season of reactions begins! I'm genuinely hyped for this one, I have a feeling this is gonna be a corker - I'm hoping anyway. First ep of the season and I'm really happy with what they've packed into it. Seeing Jonny & Robby together is warming my heart. I'm worried for Miguel but I'm happy he is taking control of his life like this - I just hope his heart remains full & not broken!

2023-11-02 11:55:02 +0000 UTCI remember when I first watched this last year I wasn't much of a fan of the Mexico storyline. I guess after 4 seasons I was used to the same places and characters and was used to that setting. However, after watching more than once and now your reaction, I really do enjoy it. My favorite part of this one is the fight scene where Johnny and Robby kick the asses of the surfer dude extortionists. That final whack on the main guy was very satisfying, as was the look on your face. I actually said out loud, "I know, right?" By the way, Mexican Coke is much better tasting as they use white sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup. We have it here in the States and one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville, 312 Pizza Company, has it available. It's my favorite pizza place by far as it's owned by former Chicagoans (312 is an area code in Chicago) and they serve authentic Chicago-style pizza, both deep dish and thin crust. Went there on my birthday back in March and will be there again for my next birthday, God willing. It means so much to me to be able to have food that I grew up eating. As I watch Teen Wolf, this new season of Cobra Kai, and I just started rewatching your Lucifer reactions, you really, REALLY have a type. Tom Ellis, Tyler Hoechlin, and now Luis Roberto Guzmán (aka Mexican Derek). I've never seen your husband, but I'm wondering if he might be in that same category. Thanks Dak, this is a fun season and I can't wait for the next episode!

2023-10-31 04:45:59 +0000 UTCChosen is so much fun. I love him so much. I think the actor has a natural sense of humor in his delivery that really makes the character endearing. Being so offbeat and humorous isn't something I would have guessed from him based on the second film, but he's a fantastic actor. So happy to be starting season 5, Dak! Bring 'em on!

2023-10-31 02:57:06 +0000 UTCSeason 5 here we go 🙂 I didn't appreciate Sam's attitude in this one but she's hurting so I can cut her some slack . Like yourself dak I enjoyed Johnny and Robbie in this one I've never been a massive Robbie fan but from halfway through season 4 my opinion changed and let's hope all grievances can be squashed and along with Miguel the three of them can find common ground 🤞 . No Tory sadly but chosen is fantastic so he makes up for it 👍 . Anyways a solid start to the new season and I'm excited for the reactions to come

2023-10-30 18:13:29 +0000 UTCGreat season opener, it feels like the problems have evolved beyond petty high school drama and who’s dating who silliness. I kind of see both sides of the argument between Amanda and Daniel. It’s not Daniel’s job to be the “white knight” and take down Cobra Kai anymore technically. Like Amanda said, they came out of it relatively unscathed, nobody got hurt, and their business is back on solid footing. However to Daniel’s point, letting Cobra Kai and Terry Silver go unchecked leaves him to brainwashing a bunch of kids into highly trained bullies who can grow up to be very twisted, like Silver and Kreese. Side note about the Hector immediately knowing Miguel was not local when he spoke Spanish by way of his accent, believe me, it’s easy to tell if you’re from Mexico. I speak Spanish, but if I were to go to Mexico, I’d stick out like a sore thumb because my accent would give me away that I don’t speak it primarily. That and certain pronunciation and slang terms are big tells. It’d be similar if an American would go to England and vice versa.
