I love Cordelia and I now love Chip aka SKIP too! Charisma is great at holding her own episode and I hope she has more in the future. Seeing her strength in this one was so satisfying & the twist was brilliant! I look forward to discovering more about this & what other gifts she now has!

Cordy's growth over six seasons, having started out as a fairly generic mean girl trope, is one of my favourite things about the Buffyverse.

2023-06-05 16:11:54 +0000 UTCCordelia's line "Demonize me already" just encapsulates why I love her character so much. Absolutely no thoughts or concerns about any bad consequences for herself personally, her only thought is to be able to help others. It's amazing how far her character has come from the "mean girl" we saw way back in the opening Buffy episode. We have seen Cordelia selflessly help others before, but agreeing to become part demon on her 21st birthday, is on another level. On a different topic, did you recognise Angel Bautista's sister/Harrison's nanny from Dexter? She looks so young in this episode!!!
