Lydia is built differently i'm telling you! She deserves way more credit & attention than what's she's getting, just saying. I loved the Stiles comedy as always but those emotional scenes blow me away every damn time! Derek gets closer to the teacher in a bloody makeout session O.o and Grandad Argent is still alive!!!

Once again Stiles is the best at emotional scenes. Him talking Scott down and calling him his brother is so well done. He's easily my favourite character and Scott isn't even in my top 3 which is weird for a main character.

2023-05-14 22:28:05 +0000 UTCYES, i've been waiting for this episode! this one has stuck in my mind since it first aired; that scene between scott and stiles is just beautiful, especially on dylan's part. it's not plot heavy at all, some may even say it's filler, but the atmosphere and story of the motel is great, i just love it. i do wish it hadn't been interspersed with derek getting laid, though, even if he was having magic healing sex as for the confusion about the darach and the wolfsbane, here are my thoughts: lydia said the wolfsbane was how the darach got into their heads, meaning they were the one to put it in the whistle before the team left. the motel's history is real and eerie regardless of the darach's involvement so i get the feeling that they were simply taking advantage of the motel's effects and were using the wolfsbane to magnify it for the wolves. lydia has been somehow connected to all the deaths in this scheme so that could also be how she was getting the relevant ghosts/memories to help her stop them. since you can tell i've watched the show before, let me also say that i literally don't remember exact connections, if there even are any, between lydia and the motel ghosts lol. i seriously only really remembered suicide motel, and scott and stiles crying with a flare in conclusion, stiles: GOAT, lydia: GOAT. together? unstoppable force of genius and snark
