Especially with anything written by Joss Whedon who was famous for saying 'I give the fans what they need, not what they want'. The introduction of Adam, Walsh's Frankenstein demon. 314 was introduced last episode, not so co-incidentally entitled 'A New Man' - obviously a reference to Buffy's new boyfriend and Giles becoming a Fyarl demon. But the obvious can hide the non-obvious. Any thoughts on 'The I in Team'? Walsh continued to behave vampire-like (Spike-like?) to the extent of dying by being staked through the heart! The intercut scenes of Buffy and Riley fighting and having sex for the first time imply that combat is their aphrodisiac. Is it the basis of their relationship?

Also love Anya and her no filter with the “Oh we’ve tried spanking.” She’s so funny.
