A group of would-be criminals kidnaps the 12-year-old daughter of a powerful underworld figure. Holding her for ransom in an isolated mansion, their plan starts to unravel when they discover their young captive is actually a bloodthirsty vampire.

I would not have been able to eat during this film! I was having a hard time already with all the gore lol but yes, this film is so funny! My brother and I talked about it yesterday and we kept recalling funny moments and laughing our asses off. I do agree with your points. I loved Angus Cloud after seeing him in Euphoria so it was weird to see him play a weird (and very predatory) character, I feel like he wasn't used to his best potential here. And I also agree that it's a bit sus that they eliminated the male POC so early on in the film. The only thing that (sort of-ish) made that up for me is the fact that the final girl ended up being a WOC. I feel like I rarely get to see that - or maybe I just haven't been watching the right movies. The last time I saw a WOC be the final girl was Barbarian. And I have seen In The Heights! That was actually my introduction to Melissa - and I've had a major crush on her since lol

Interesting choice with all the gore but not gonna lie, this film made me laugh out loud a lot. Loved the characters as well. RIP Angus but his character was so cringe- just the way he talked. Irritated that the male POC was killed so early on in the film. Have you seen In the Heights? It's so good and Melissa is in that one.
