The article is 100% projection. The author -Frum? Walking dog now)- is avoiding the obvious question: what IS a genocide, then? He goes on to imply indigenous communities couldn't manufacture biological magic against foreign viruses and/or infections implies a parity between indigenous people and "bugs." This is the exact comparison German Nazis made about Jews. Neither is excusable and it's incredibly disappointing to see a fellow Jew tow the line when it's quite likely his ancestors endured similar treatment. Just fkng depressing, honestly Hiteous.

Rural USA communities live far apart but also don’t use fuel excessively (maybe bc they don’t expect the same level of convenience as people in cities and they bundle trips?). Urban communities travel shorter distances often in very efficient ways. Cuba, china, venezuela, honduras, and more are all working with each other to resist the usa in the ways that they can. Very different projects but we must support them.
