Not as extreme but I’ve seen climate change deniers use “and whatever happened to the hole in the ozone layer?!?!” as an argument that climate change is a farce.

But under capitalism the death of the seas, more pandemics, and bioengineering for the rich certainly appear that way. Need a revolutionary working class to asset itself to create different futures, hope we have time before some of these to do that.
