Size Queen's Gambit 2 - Chapter 3

Hi there Patron!

Feeling fine I hope?

I don't know what it is with my scheduling, but I have been stumbling into double and triple bookings left and right this week. And last week. And, frankly, next week as well.

I must admit, I have my lazy weeks where I try to do as little as possible and just make sure I am leaning as far back in a computer chair or a sofa as possible while letting pretty lights and sounds wash over my prone body. But I can't live that way for too long. I want to see my family and friends, pursue hobbies, enjoy nature, drink wine elsewhere, etc. I gotta make some plans! And keep dragging my fat butt into the office... And pursue my passion of writing... And all that stuff I mentioned earlier...

Typically, I aim for one or two 'things' every weekend. This allows me to take it easy, have a nice breakfast, and make a day of it. You know? This isn't a 'once-in-a-lifetime-trip-to-wherever-so-I'm-planning-it-down-to-the-minutes-' scenario. Ugh, so many dashes just then. But it feels like there's no empty space. Sometimes I pack my schedules on the weekdays and weeknights pretty tight, much like a dash-filled run-on like that. Dashes in general irritate me, but I find them immensely useful in lots of niche scenarios. But the fact that in English there exist compound words, pairs of words that can be together or spaced apart, and words that can connected by dashes and some that must be... Frankly its annoying. Anyway. Dash that tangent, let's get back to the sub rant.

I've been busy ay eff recently and am dragging out that mini-cold (Fluffing DASH!) which isn't ideal. I am getting a lot done, and seeing people, and making memories, and writing and editing, and really things are firing on multiple cylinders which is awesome! But I'm tired. Boo hoo. Gotta burn that fuel if you want to keep the jalopy a movin'.

Where am I going with all this? (Get ready for this leap) Imagine our dear friend Zeke. His schedule over the course of a single day. What a stud. I am over here boo hooing about having a sore throat and having to look at a PC before I go home and enjoy charcuterie under a blanket. (Blanket weather baby! That is keeping me afloat in all honesty.) But poor Zeke, the fates just have him spending all of his precious chakra energy from the moment he wakes up to, well, don't let me spoil the story for you. But I think you can imagine where things are going.

Please enjoy the third chapter of SQG2. Its a long one. Just like Zeke! (Ayy.) So hydrate well (I am! If coffee counts... I hope it does!) and enjoy.

Ta ta~

~Michelle
