EB Ch 11 Teaser 3

Hello Dear Patron!

I have a bit of a special and unique teaser for you today beyond the typical couple thousand words of raunchy deliciousness. A doodle. By a human who also happens to be me.

And, because I am feeling a bit saucy and because it isn't some great work of art, I will be making it available to everyone since many of your have read EM in the past and maybe don't have a clear image of what the Doctor's dungeon Laboratory looks like.

I know that sometimes posting images and pictures and diagrams can take away from a reader's imagination. But I also have some very fond memories of flipping back and forth between the pages I was reading and some fantasy map in the back of the hobbit and the like. Imagining where they were when things happened. I had to use all my self-control to not draw the dotted red line I imagined them traveling along.

So I offer this humble mess. I have a laundry list of disclaimers, (Why am I so bold and proud of my writing, but simultaneously sweating bullets to show off my handwriting?) Anyway, not really spoilers, but this part of the teaser has the Doctor going on a bit of an impromptu tour about the reformed dungeon laboratory. Maybe with this scrap, (I have to do these doodles sometimes because I need to know where things are. I have one for the swanky bar MC and Trish went on, too. And the boardroom, at least who is sitting where.)

Quick tangent: This will end up being a poll, but are you interested in maps like these? For smut? Haha. Oh no, here comes the rant. I feel it. I mean the joke could be made that all good smut is deeply dependant on 'positions'. Location. Who is where, what is going in and out of where, and after all that, what spills out everywhere else. You know what I mean.

I recently was paid a compliment that send shivers across my skin. Something along these lines: 'I couldn't picture scenes very clearly while reading other authors and thought it was just me, but then I read your work and could see everything as clear as day.'

Maybe it is the AC blasting me, or maybe it is just the kindest and one of the most enjoyable things to hear as a person who is writing smut and I want you to know where every finger is at a given time. Kind of a self dig, but I often go overkill on what hands are doing what at the same time. I won't be stopping that anytime soon, fear not, but just an observation along these lines.

But what about actual positioning in a room? A home? A building? A town? I think those are my answers right there. I will whip that poll up this instant and get it ready actually.

How much does, for lack of a better term, geolocation affect your enjoyment? When I have Trish and MC going from the coat check, past the restrooms and a hallway to a large restaurant, into the bar area, which has a separate table game area on the far end o the bar, can you imagine the same thing I am? Does it even matter when Trish's tits keep getting bigger and she just wants to suck off MC in the bathroom? The walk from the booths past the locals on the end of the bar into the billiard area doesn't matter does it?

Obviously, I personally think it does have an effect. I can see Trish scooting out of the booth, imagine who is watching her over half drunk beers. Hear the click of her heels as she bounces by the regulars who are all staring in turns. I like to write like I am directing a film sometimes in that way.

Ah, well we can save this discussion for the poll.

Also, I can be way more detailed than this. Spoilers, but I "used to" draw maps like this for TTRPG campaigns I ran many, many moons ago. Now I just use those (totally not) abandoned skills to help map out smut locations in my mind. I do have a version of this map with actual furniture and stuff. And I had to stop myself from drawing the floor tiles in the room and the actual monitors on the doctor's desk. The scale is super vague, but generally in the ballpark.
