EB 11 - Teaser 2

How's it hanging?

For the star of this chapter, quite low, in a number of ways. Ha.

I mentioned in a previous rant recently about kind of stumbling at this point in the novel and being overly cautious about how I am going to plot things forward, but that is sorted now. I sat down and had a look at the story, the chunks of the puzzle I had left on the table, and found a fairly clear way forward.

This whole novel might be taking place over the space of a single day. How insane is that. Talk about granular. I am basically writing a season of 24, but with boobs and dicks! Haha. The following novel will be a lot more spaced out and varied. But that is in the far future from now. EB is basically a snapshot of the turning point for these characters on the precipice of a very large event. The previous novel, Experimental Medicine, leading up to this point.

Today's second teaser continues the story from before as we join a certain someone. I read back through chapter 4 of EB after I had made some progress and realized, after the fact, I had kind of retreaded a bit of old ground. (It will all be sorted out in the far far future. They are drafts after all.) But then I realized that , actually, even in the retreading... Things were different.

Maybe you can spot the differences? Feel the vibe over the next teaser or two? Enjoy some of the new angles on the situation and learn about our dear doctor? It's like groundhog day almost. Or the final chapters of EM like that. How fitting the punishment is for the crime.

Once all of this chapter is uploaded, I will finally unlock Chapter 10 for all my lurkers and free members to enjoy. If you simply can't wait then you have fallen into my deadly trap of sin. Or, alternatively, are just a super generous and kind person! EB11 is moving along at a nice clip so it won't be much longer now. Hang tight!

I won't knock my work at this moment, but believe this chapter will be the glue that holds things together in the novel as we enter the end game. This is the turning point of the turning point. Right on the edge of a knife!
