Triple Trouble Chapters 7 & 8

Hi Patron~

Staying cool this week I hope? I got caught in the sun and got cooked. I reapplied sunscreen, but it was a bit too late, although I am not in deep trouble thankfully.

Thinking about this strange weather makes me wonder how things will be in a handful of years. I won't go down that rabbit hole, but I think a lot of us all have a similar feeling each year as summer rolls around and it's that much worse than before.

Speaking of hot, today we have two more chapters of Triple trouble. They are a bit short, but it's good stuff. Emotional moments with a nice mix of sexiness as well. I have been trying to work on being succinct with my side stories. Experimental Business (And Medicine, when I wrote it in a different era) are my playgrounds to really draw things out and get into the nitty gritty. Long winded to say the least.

But there is something to be said about the 'sniper' approach. I borrow this from an old teacher who described how students responded to long-answer questions on tests. You could write a single sentence with all the pertinent details and get full marks, the 'sniper' approach. Or you could take the 'shotgun' approach and write down essentially everything you could remember about the subject hoping enough of that intellectual buckshot hit the target so you could get a passing grade. Needless to say, I was a 'spray and pray' type of respondent in those scenarios.

But with smut, one wonders, is the sniper approach better or worse than the short gun? For fear of my rant running too long, I will say there is a time and a place for both. And to elaborate gently, I think some space between sniper shots allows a reader to build up to a satisfying enjoyment of my writing without being in a rush. Regardless, I do realize that tightening up my writing a bit isn't a bad call.

How has this story been? Pacing going alright? I grew attached to these characters while writing them and liked how this one turned out. Only one more chapter (Actually 1 and a mini epilogue) remaining. So next week will be the conclusion.
