Musing on Diversions

Hello dear Patron~

'Another day in paradise', an old colleague of mine would say every time I saw them. Gotta love that positivity despite the fact that both of us were far from ideal circumstances in life then. But the adage itself and his overall brightness will stick with me.

Yes, another day in paradise, I whisper to myself sitting at the desk once again. Any day I get an opportunity to write and create feels like a moment in paradise. And I try to keep that point of view strong in my mind. I run through hobbies like a dealer throws cards to players sitting around a table. Sometimes even doing your hobbies feels like a chore, doesn't it? It just means you need a break I think. When will you pick it up again? Who can say. When you want to, I believe. When you need to.

Hobbies come and go, don't they. Learning a new skill, game, activity, or pastime is so great, though. I adore them. Writing started out like that for me and has kind of started to stick its toes in a bit of a grey area. The words still flow from me like water tumbling over a fall so I am thankful for that. But sometimes you get lazy, you know? Just want to stretch out like some cat in a sunbeam and roll over and sleep.

Sadly, I don't let myself get that kind of utter relaxation very often. My situation doesn't really allow for it either for a variety of reasons. But the words keep coming. There are times where I wonder if one of my hobbies could be a passion. Writing has been there all along. Even before I stated publishing smut on the internet, when it came to writing for school stuff and for hobby related things, the words have always come.

I shall continue, dear Patron. Of course I shall continue. The iron, as they say, is hot right now and why would one stop striking it at this critical moment?

More delightful Triple Trouble later this week and with some luck (Last week there wasn't any, and my artist is busy apparently, the perks of being cheap and on the bottom of the list I suppose) something delicious for my DDDs.
