What are we all looking at? Oh me? Oh, I've been here the whole time!

Whoops! A day or two slipped by there. I haven't forgotten, but it was just one of those times where my hands couldn't reach the keys. I truthfully have been here as much as anyone on the internet exists away from it. Now that is an instantly harrowing thought.

Sure, we all leave semi-permanent traces of our existence on the internet. Stuff netrunners use to flush out smart toilets when we are trying to save water and such. They should be pillaging the ultra rich instead of changing my ice cube maker from 'make them quickly' mode to 'make them at the normal pace' mode. Don't look at me like that, I like ice cubes, what can I say? I am the one refilling the thing with water so why shouldn't I?

In all honesty, the smartest device in my life is probably my phone, and I generally keep it nearby. My TV is pretty clever, but hides its deep secrets well enough to keep me from messing with it too deeply.

All this to say, sorry I was busy! But here is a hello for the week, hoping yours is going well. Mine was nice. I successfully attended a social function with many people and even spoke in front of them. To think there are those who want to hear what I have to say that isn't smut related! In real life no less. But is our presence on the internet real? Are you real, hiding behind countless proxies, VPNs, and clever throw away e-mails?

Am I? Perhaps while doing the exact same thing?

I'd say so. I find some of the most satisfying and kind interactions I have, in whatever you call this brain-based conglomerate of personas on and off the net, are here via this site. You'd assume that connisuirs like you and I are all deviant to our core, and while I haven't ruled it out, the fine 'trons (I like the phrase 'trons. I also like robot music and light bikes.) who chat with me here are some of the absolute kindest I have ever had the pleasure of talking to.

More EB coming within 24 hours if I am lucky, or a bit more if I am not. I might make a weird post in like 12 hours or something for fear of my schedule being too packed tomorrow. Gotta run, darlings!
