Forgive me in advance since this is a rare phone post from me. I always have you close at hand and for that I am thankful.
I had a bit of a vacance the last week or so and it has been exhilarating and refreshing and encouraging. If you have the chance or can make the chance, step away from your zone for a day or two or even an afternoon. Helps recalibrate your radars and sensors greatly.
Coming back hasn't been easy. I don't live in a tropical paradise so getting off the plane was a ride awakening for me and my choice of garb upon arrival. We all learn don't we. Be a lifelong learner like me and learn to pack some tights in your carry on. Dramatic oversight I could feel in my bones until to got to a hot shower.
Anyway. Enough about me. I have a heartfelt post coming up in the near future which will cover most of my thoughts in more depth, but wanted to check in and wish everyone a happy happy new year.
I can't believe it but there are over 400 kind people lending an ear to these words and it means a lot to me. My writing over the last two years has been continuous and consistent thanks to your ears, or eyes really. I mean it's my fingers that tap the keys and click the buttons, but you know that it's motivation and encouragement and kind engagement that keeps any person at something for more than it takes them to get bored of it.
