Having a lovely week? I hope you are! I feel a change in the winds as the storms and rains are finally passing. Gosh, summer just sucks sometimes. If you aren't out there enjoying the beach or playing sports or lounging in the sun, or poolside. It just isn't really the best time is it? Even when you are enjoying it, at least for a person with my complexion, it is a literal death sentence if you don't protect yourself. And really, it's just all sweaty and unpleasant and it's tough to present yourself in a flattering manner.
Too real! So I am glad that the season is starting to shift. At least there have been hints at respite on my part of the rock recently. Here is hoping I can go between islands of A/C without fearing for my life from the angry sun above.
So I made the choice to post it all! I was going to hold a bit back, but this is going to be an interesting experiment to see what you think. It will be a poll later on. But there is a part in the story where I was going to split it and save a bunch for later on. I may still do that someday, eventually, but that day will not be today. So enjoy the whole thing. Close to 10,000 words.
Curious to hear what you think about the good doctor and her position in the company. You'd pray for a glass ceiling in her position. Perhaps.
