Breaking Ground

It is with a heavy heart and a dramatically over-emphasized sigh that I retire from my vacation. I took a bit of a sabbatical to get my head straight, something I am actually allowed to do in my profession with little to no blowback. A real blessing that I am super thankful for.
I won't go into the details, but those days are behind me and I am recharged and ready to get back into the thick of things. You know what that means! The tippity tapping of fingers on keys and smut returning to the light. I almost feel like a zombie breaking ground, from the bottom up (The titular line!) as I return back to my mundane existence.
But getting back into the swing of writing after a little break is also such a welcome thing. It is kind of concerning to me really. Without the weight of labor to keep me grounded the need to fly through writing also paused. A very interesting balance I am striking I find.
Anyway, I am not nearly as good at ranting as I was before my break so I am just cutting it off here. I will, or very well ought to be able to get out the full chapter of EB either in a few hours or a few hours + 24 hours from now. Looks forward to that. And from there I will either be a lazy bones and take a temporary break from EB to share something else delicious, or crack on as hard as I can with that. We shall see. That is me multiple days in the future and I cannot forsee that person's motivations or will to live currently.
Just taking it a day at a time and today is the first day in a while!
