Work progress and a temporary shift in focus

I'd chalked it up to my significant health issues this year, which haven't really abated, just become moderately more manageable. Chronic? Probably. But I'm not dying anytime soon, barring unforseen incidents.
However, I've discovered that my writer's block and slugish ability to chart a story seems to be tied specifically to Worm and Parahumans. Looking back, I've been writing Parahumans fanfiction and crossovers for ten years. Apparently, my muse was willing to shut down completely rather than exercise in the Wormverse uninterrupted; I am choosing to view this as something spurring me to grow rather than stagnate in an aging Fandom.
Did I say aging Fandom? I am prepared to eat my words, considering that the project that's actually working for me right now is decades older: the Elenium. Yes, Eddings.
As always, I'll be releasing this on Spacebattles forums when ready, unless content in it pushes past what they'll allow (such as what prudes and power tripping admins might deem 'excessive' gore and violence) in which case, it's off the Questionable Questing with it instead. I still have about twelve thousand words to edit before I release it to the public, but as it stands, I'll be throwing an unedited version of the first chapter later today.
None of this means I'm abandoning my stories, especially not Touch or Marked. I just need to unjam the logs before I return to them.
