Hi Manuel! I'm currently using a Moment "CineBloom Variable ND Filter" which is a 2in1 filter! They actually made a filter that combines their VND and the Cinebloom, which is incredible for me :D

T

ehi Teo can i ask what ND filters are you currently using on the tamron 28-75? i recently bought one(:

Manuel M

Ohh fantastic, I'm very happy to hear that! <3

Hi Krin! Aww amazing, thank you! I'm so happy you can connect with my work like this - happy exploring! :) Hahah I actually have heard that before but only once :,D It's an honour to be compared to a legend of Jacob's caliber :,)

T

I just wanted to let you know that I only just stumbled across the YT vid you posted about this shoot a couple of days ago and I’m hooked! So here I am 😊 THANK YOU! Probably you have heard this before, or not, but you are like Jacob Collier! Not by looks but how you explain things and the passion about photography and video making just shows in all your works! :) An when you talk, you also do sound like him in a way. šŸ˜…

Alright, amazing. Thank you for the kind message! <3

Loved this tutorial! The free flowing style was awesome. Beyond just learning the technical edits, it was great hearing your thought process as you worked through the edits. Super insightful!

Aww amazing! I like to think that I'm just sitting there with you next to me and I'm directly explaining to you how I do things and why I do things a certain way while sprinkling in some extra tips I've found for myself along the way. So I'm very happy to hear this long style of tutorial works for you! :)

T

Gahhh amazing, that makes me so happy, because I genuinely think that this style of tutorial, where I just kind of sit down and explain the process as if you are next to me, is the most effective in getting across not just the gist of it, but also the nuances and details. Thanks! :)

T

Just about finished watching this video and I really love the free flowing format of it. I think as long as you take time to thoroughly explain your thought process, these videos can really be helpful for us. I love seeing how other people use Lightroom since it's truly such a creative tool that had endless combinations and possibilities. Even though it was 45+ mins long I didn't even notice, I actually didn't want it to end lol

My attention span for your videos is extremely long. I would watch a 12 hour tutorial from you! I just joined your patreon today and am looking forward to going through the backlog!

Hi Rob! Happy to hear that :) I personally would like to see videos like these if I were a subscriber myself, however I'm not sure if it's too raw and deep into the process haha. Ohh interesting, I've never heard of anyone doing that!

T

Perfect! I'm happy to hear that because I think this is what I myself would want to see as a subscriber, but at the same time I understand that attention spans might want a shorter video haha

T

Ohh lovely! Wishing you a great time in Yosemite! :)

T

Can't wait to watch this later. I'm currently preparing for a trip to Yosemite with some friends and I'm looking forward to try this and all your other presets.

Keno Santos

I enjoy these long form videos where we get to see your process!

Since you asked us to comment whether this seems too long, to me not at all. Love watching your process, even if I doubt I have the patience or color savvy to replicate it. I notice you leave your raw images in the proprietary format, which I suppose for Sony will be supported for a very long time. My workflow has always been to convert all raw images to dng format when I import them, for permanence and consistency.
