Hi Phil, thank you so much for your kind comment!! It means a lot to me that my work actually makes an impact on individuals like you in this way, which is just wild to me - so thank you so writing it out! <3 I'm so happy to hear that you're getting back into photography with a new approach now. Wishing you lots of fun on future shoots! :D

Hello Teo! I've been following your work (both on IG and YT) for while now, and now on Patreon! and I just wanted to say that I love your work! And also I wanted to thank you. I've been a photographer for many years now, mainly shooting portraits, weddings and such (because that's where the money is at where I live), but stopped because I lost my love for photography. I wanted to light up that spark again, and started with a Pentax K1000 I bought from a friend, trying to use my limited shots to find beauty in my surroundings, to appreciate them more. Now I'm finally getting back to posting again, changed the main focus of my photos to what I call "the beauty of the mundane", and I wanted to thank you for being a big influence on me to get back on track, your videos, your Patreon updates, they helped me a lot. I bought a Lumix GX80/85 and a 20mm 1.7f because of your videos, and while I haven't used it a lot, I'm really excited to try it out, including your presets! Sorry for the long text, but again, thank you and I wish you a great May!

Hi Teo, I really enjoy your videos! The colors are really beautiful and relaxing. Watching your videos has further strengthened my passion for photography. Your presets are stunning and create such a great atmosphere - I'll definitely study them carefully😄.

Hi Yves! Thanks, glad you like it! :) Hmm that's a tricky question I must say, because I'm afraid I'm not all to conscious about that... it just sort of happens subconsciously that I find myself being influenced by creators or artists. But a few things come to mind... my studies were actually very influential. I was introduced to photo theory which was fun. I come from a bit of a commercial background, so when I came into uni, which was more like art-school, there was a lot of new perspectives to gain. I mostly remember Susan Sontag, who everyone who has studied photography in an academic sense will have probably heard of. Her essays on photography are very interesting and gave me a whole new (philosophical) perspective on what photography even is and what capturing moments means. When I came into uni I photographed with aesthetics being my top priority. By the time I left uni that had become secondary, still very important to me, because I love aesthetics, but I felt a much deeper sense connection to what photography actually is. In a similar vein, albeit much harder to understand, Roland Barth's essays were also very interesting in case you like to be a little heady with photography. Otherwise someone who had a great impact on me was one of my professors, who I also interned for - Andrew Phelps. A photographer originally from Arizona, USA, who had somehow ended up in Salzburg, my hometown, where he'd give great lectures in my school. He specified what it meant to not just photograph for the sake of pretty pictures. One of the courses I did with him was documentary photography in which he showed us the works of people like Eugene Smith and Rob Hornstra, which certainly had an impact on me. I'd say that balanced me out a bit. I was so focused on getting pretty pictures that I ignored what it actually was that I was photographing. Nowadays, even when a photograph is not particularly "good" in an aesthetic sense or in composition, I might see something else of value in it, which I think is cool :D

Hi Teo, great preset again! I was wondering lately if there are any photographers or filmmakers (or books or ideas or whatever) that really made an impact on how you approach your photos? I'm always very curious about the journey/foundations creators went through to get to their own unique style! :)

Hi Valentina! Ohh shoot, thank you for pointing that out - Patreon has been buggy with my .dng files lately :( I've uploaded the files to Dropbox for now, can you download them from here? https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/1geamnz41jmokon6xnnrz/AEC4-cdlydb6f-bUQ9__jg0?rlkey=9a386k3diq23h0twnlj5tu3wa&st=lc6mes6d&dl=0

Hi Teo, I really love the vibe of this preset—it’s exactly what I was looking for this month! Unfortunately, it seems there’s an issue with the DNG file. Could you please take a look when you get a chance?
