Dear Patreon community,
I'm happy to announce the first post of this month - it's the monthly preset! :)
For October I went through my library and found a look that I've been going for when editing cloudy and rainy days, especially in nature, when there's a lot of greens. This preset is ideal for those moody days and will give the greens a colder tone, while still preserving the oranges of your scene. All the examples are again tweaked slightly in white balance, tint and exposure.
Two tips:
1. Use the exposure slider as the "moodyness" slider. I've found that this preset works nicely both ways, so the moodier you want your photo to look, the darker you should make it.
2. Try setting the white balance on quite a warm setting to ensure that you're preserving the oranges in your photo.
As shown in the preview map, I've found that this preset works best when you have a green scene with some contrasting elements, which will be enhanced by the preset. So natural greens contrasting to the orange look of the houses in this case.
I hope you enjoy this one! Btw. if there's a specific look you want to see me post as a preset here, just let me know in the comments! :)
