"why havent you been forging?"
Added 2021-08-24 14:49:42 +0000 UTCwell simple answer is if its over 90 degrees or the heat index is, i dont until it cools down until later in the evening. i do have neighbors so i only do it for an hour or so most days.
Why? well its the same reason in the warm months i dont wear much in the shop. in my late teens and early 20s i had so many bad instances of heat stroke due to being in desert areas for reasons... that now, when i start to get too hot it can very easily kill me. so i have to watch out for myself. some of you are due on patreon forged items or orders and i just wanted to let you know they are coming but i cant be out in the heat too much. its 95 today with a heat index of 113. i work for about 20 mins at a time out there. once the shop is full closed in and can get a window ac unit going it will be perfect but now, its just hell and im sorry.
ive been editing the new video and i saw myself passout and i dont even remember doing it. it was so damn hot just doing that under the shade with a massive fan and i got myself way too close to the edge to get that done. but im putting the final touches on the video as we speak and recording audio with allie tonight so hopefully you can see all the work over 3 weeks of time it took me to axe out that keel riser.
