the good, the bad, and the ugly

why has the keel taken so long? look at the wood at my feet.  this rotten worm hole garbage is what i have to work with.  plus, its bent and twisted.  getting myself a straight piece out this was a nightmare to say the least. but... every worm hole is filled.  every bend is cut out

a lot of you have seen the video of me axing and how pissed off i got at people jumping to the conclusion that it was the wrong axe. and well honestly fuck them, they dont deserve to know, you do.

 well it was the right axe for this job because it was my grandfathers axe.  him and i would talk about this project. it put the dream in my head.  yeah its the wrong axe but i made it work.  its like im back talking with him.  wrong axe... pfft.  people speak like i dont have reasons. it drives me insane.  nothing i do is without reason.  I know you all would appreciate this.

i know i am slow at getting to messages and getting your perks out i promise i am working on all of it.  everytime i have tried to have an assistant it has always failed and made more work for me in the long run and there is sadly only one of me. what i wouldnt give for another one...  but i cant find people willing to work all day in the heat for next to nothing like i do haha.  they are too smart for that and passion is in short supply these days.   just know you matter.  i am getting to you i swear. 

This ship, this dream of mine, is only happening because of you.  i dont give a shit if the rest of internet is bitching to high heaven about not seeing boat content, you all are the ones who i care about brining along with me on this process. 

ive been making pine tar.  why? because i am dumb for pain i guess.  it is so insanely hard to get but its just one more part of the ship that will be hand wrought. for a 14 foot boat its going to have a lot of cool stuff.  im even thinking about getting a traditional hand poke tattoo of a long ship on my shoulder blade... do it by firelight on mushrooms or something lol i dont know.  what do you all think?
