would have been up for you all today but we spent all of the day at the hospital because we thought allie was going into labor and of course it was just false labor. the kiddo is coming at some point in the next two weeks though. he needs to hurry up i want to see his little face

2021-04-09 23:39:38 +0000 UTCLong before I had ever borne a child of my own, I was watching the movie "Slaughterhouse-5" (based on the Vonnegut novel of the same name), and when the last living human beings in the Universe have a child, the aliens keeping them alive create a fireworks display to celebrate the event, I said, "Every time a child is born, it's Christmas!" My future husband agreed (and we had a child together, who is now 40 years old) So virtual fireworks and other celebratory activities to take place when your child decides to enter our world.
