Merry Christmas all! It's just me and the wife, and the dog now. Kids have moved away, so we didn't even bother to decorate this year, other than to put some mini Christmas tree lights on my wifes rosemary bush she had in the kitchen. Was thinking about when I was kid, we had just moved to a new town a couple of months earlier, the excitement of wondering what was in a present, then opening it to reveal the gift inside. The memory is even more heartfelt now, knowing our kids are celebrating today with their kids, our grandkids. The magic of Christmas has made it the full circle.
