I have two in the works that are about a mini long ship and im finishing my narration on the carving how two but the next 4 to 6 part video im looking at doing one of the following
option 1, no electricity at all using minimal tools and making my own charcoal, then making my own steel, then making a knife. i mean going old old school. working on the ground. stump anvil, using a period style hammer and tongs, no flux.
or
option 2, an anthropomorphic celtic le tene sword.
i would make the steel, cast the bronze handle using person clay method, maybe try to do a period metal sheath?
im going to do both of these but you get to pick what next. majority wins.

2020-05-25 04:44:03 +0000 UTCIt appears the carvings are darkened before the oil. Does the oil have some type of dye dissolved in it? Trying to improve my knowledge and your handle finishes are wonderful, as well as the blades.
