INTEMPERANCE VIII - Chapter 23, New Arrivals
Added 2024-11-06 11:33:40 +0000 UTCTwo new characters are introduced in this one. One has been mentioned before, the other has not and will hopefully fulfill a need in the Kingsley household. As always, let me know how you like it and send me comments. As for the illustrations, some of you like them and some did not. I will continue to play with the illustration program (I found one that is much better and allows you to create adult content at the Rated-R level) and I will post a few illustrations with each chapter, but I will do it as a separate, uncharged post that will have one or two illustrations from the latest chapter as well as a few classic scenes (including Laura being chased by the sea lion) for your perusal. If you want to see the illustrations, open the post and check them out. If you do not want to see the illustrations, don't open the post. Hopefully that will keep everyone happy as I play around with this new technology.

I had planned to someday travel to Norway or Iceland to see them. As it turned out, I was able to both see and photograph them from my own northern California suburban backyard.

2024-11-06 15:39:20 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure that at the time I lived in that part of California, which is contemporary to the story, there was no Walmart in Atascadero. It was, and still is, in Paso Robles, maybe 15 minutes north. The next nearest one is in Arroyo Grande, which is around 20 minutes past SLO in the other direction. Either way, it'd be a huge hassle for a single mom trying to make ends meet while commuting between Atascadero and SLO, which shows what kind of pressure Yami is under.

While I was going through the illustrations I was comparing the band to the existing bands out there... the purpose of the story obviously is not to have the story based on an existing band out there... in any case What if a community project can help actually creating the music? And the music can be streamed in Deezer (etc) and it can generate an income? I would work on such a project for free, just because I am sometimes bored playing Diablo 3 , and I would love doing new technology. (I am in IT writing code all day). I am already starting a course in photo generation in my spare time
