INTEMPERANCE V - Chapter 15, Ziggy
Added 2021-08-12 06:04:18 +0000 UTCWell, since it is Satan's butthole hot here in the central valley of California (100+ over every one of the last six days and to continue for the next week) and, since the hot air outside is choked with smoke from wildfires, I was able to spend my days off continuously writing in the comfort of my air conditioned home. As such, I've managed to pound out another chapter. This one has some Matt and his situation, some Kingsleys and their situation. There is a lot of technical medical stuff in this one. For those of you who are not in the medical field, let me know if it was easy to follow along and not boring. I did try to make it entertaining. For those of you who are in the medical field, let me know if I screwed anything up. I don't think I did, though if you are a doctor, things were simplified a bit because I didn't want to get too boring.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion, but the date of conception of Cadence Kingsley is quite clearly written as March 4th, 1998 and the day Laura wakes up with morning sickness and takes the first positive pregnancy test is April 11, 1998 (her birthday, and also plainly written in the narrative). That would be well over a month and well within the lower end of the detection range for a home HCG test.
