April Fan Favorites NOW OPEN for Submissions!

Hi friends! The Fan Favorites channel over on our Discord is live and ready for your submissions for the April 2025 episode of Fan Favorites! 

**REMEMBER: Fan Favorites submissions are ONLY accepted via our Fan Favorites channel on The Daily Doug Discord. Any recommendations made in comments here will not be considered.

This Month’s Theme: Celebrating National Jazz Appreciation Month!

When Meg and I saw that April is National Jazz Appreciation Month, we knew instantly what our April Fan Favorites theme would be. I am excited to hear your favorite jazz or jazz fusion submissions! 

**THIS IS THE FORMAT/TEMPLATE FOR A COMPLETE SUBMISSION IN THE #FAN-FAVORITES CHANNEL ON THE DAILY DOUG DISCORD:

.suggest title of song/piece, name of composer/band, YouTube link, and a short backstory (optional)

Example submission:

.suggest “Come Rain Or Come Shine” Ella Fitzgerald, http://bit.ly/3XWg9uc. Incredible live performance at Mister Kelly’s.

**RULES/INFO:

• Post your submission in the #⁠fan-favorites channel on Discord

• The submission needs to be a publicly available YouTube video OR Spotify track

• No music previously covered on the YouTube channel or on Patreon

• Your submission should be less than 12 min. in length

• Only one submission per person per month

• Discord Submissions Start: Sat Apr 12

• Discord Submissions End: Thur Apr 24

• Patreon Poll Starts: Fri Apr 25

• Patreon Poll Ends: Mon Apr 28

• Fan Favorites Video Release: Tue Apr 29
