Favourite things✨

I'm writing a poem and it'd be awesome to get your input! What are your favourite things/reasons to live? 🌞

I can't wait to read what you come up with!

You

Reasons to live aren't my strength, but when I need to be talked down off the ledge myself, I think about what kind of person I want to be - instead of who I am. And I make it a good person. A stronger person. Someone with more faith and hope. And I think about how I don't want to die without having met that person yet.

Sorry I'm so late in responding - the color yellow, the smell of freshly-cut grass, the sound of a babbling brook, seeing fish moving in a pond, and catching a whiff of cordite smell at the gun range.

I'm late af, but here are a few: music, tea, friendship, books, the ocean, the smell of pine, fall leaves, cozy sweaters, Miss Vickies Salt and Vinegar chips

I enjoy seeing other people, ordinary people doing ordinary things, together, getting by and enjoying what they have in life, being proud of who they are and of the wisdom and efforts of those around them. We all have enormous potential and I love people who have an empathic and humble belief in themselves and relish breathing in the air of life each day. I wish that every person on the planet could have that. Steve.

I'm into astronomy. I was actually looking at Saturn and Saturn's moon Titan through my telescope the same morning I discovered your YouTube channel.

Scooby Doo cartoons. Unexpected presents (in beautiful wrapping). Seeing happy kids. Watching people dance. Favorite songs, turned up loud in the car, and singing along at the top of your lungs. Fountain soda. When the good guys win in the end. Freckles that aren’t actually just sun damage. Unnatural hair colors. Feeling like I belong.

I might be a bit late to the game but here goes, I like waking up in the morning before the sun comes up, the world is silent but for the sounds of breathing from my wife, the baby, the dog. Then slowly you hear the first chirps of the birds, just one or two at first but very quickly it becomes an orchestra of birds. Then out in the darkness a roaster crows, the sky slowly turns from black to grey/blue then you see purple to pink and hints of orange. Now you can hear the sounds of the animals waking from their long nights sleep, the first to call out is usually a cow but sometimes a whinny or two can be heard. As I lay there I am reminded of how lucky I am to have awoken next to the most beautiful person in the world and how amazing a life that God has aloud me to have, two wonderful children that Dr's said that I would never have and 20+ years past the 6 months that those same Dr's gave me to live. Sorry that this was so long but I have much to be happy for and sometimes it needs to be said out loud. I am also happy to have found your music but that for another day. Happy weekend Janet.
