Let’s Meet In London

It’s a tough one this week. Another poem, this time about grief, which I tried a million times to express.

This one is for a friend of mine who sadly isn't with us anymore. The world is a harsh place and is sometimes too much for some. God bless and Godspeed friend. You'll be missed but hopefully I'll see you again.

I grieve too for your loss and pray that putting your grief to written word assisted in your healing process.

Your poems always astound me, to be able to connect with the deep, complex thought process that goes on inside your head, is highly admirable and fairly rare... You are truly unique and there is no question you are an old soul !!

I know what you are feeling, I felt it many time in my life time, if I knew you personally I could tell you about me, but I know that will never be. I can not make it any better, but to tell you it will always be there, but as you get older, the pain will reside an the thoughts will always remain. I am very sorry for your loss. XXX

I love your poems, and all of them are beautifully written and told. I enjoy writing my poems. 🙂

I love your poems. This was swift and tragic. It really expresses how quick and finite death is. Time itself can be ripped from a beating heart. Thanks for sharing.

May God grant your friend the peace that he/she could not find in life and give you comfort in knowing that the love you shared will be in your heart forever. The pain will never go away completely but your happy memories will soon outweigh your grief. Long distant hugs to you Janet.

Christ, that was a gut punch. I'm sorry for your loss, my friend. I can't say that I know how it feels, because I've been lucky so far in my life, but i hope that my words mean something nonetheless. Love ya bud, and I know it was a little bit ago, but I hope you're doing okay.

Ugh, so sorry kiddo. You have had to deal with too many of these so young. The feelings come and goe sometimes, you just have to ride it out but it gets better, trust me. But I am glad you have an outlet, that can only help. In the meantime, HUGS!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
